Traditionally worn by African women since the 15th century for celebratory purposes. Historically, beads were worn visibly as a sign of status or hidden as an invisible yet perceptible signal to the opposite sex. Nowadays, adorned for fashion and weight control purposes.
Materials: Glass Beads, Czech Beads, Wood Beads, Plastic Beads stranded on elastic wire with clasp. We may occasionally mix in some gemstones, jewels, crystals and earth stones.
Waist beads are custom made after order is placed so allow up to 10 days for delivery.
